The modes of Lalit Narayan Mithila University admission are offline and online. Admission to various postgraduate and undergraduate programmes is based on merit and scores of entrance tests. At the undergraduate level, the university offers a four-year B.Tech and various other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, Lalit Narayan Mithila University provides two-year MA, MSc, 18-month to two-year MBA, and various other courses to students. Lalit Narayan Mithila University also provides Certificate, Ph.D., and post-doctoral courses to students. The candidates must apply early as the seats are limited and the competition is very high.

Candidates could register and declare choices for INI CET 2023 counselling open round till July 28. Earlier the deadline was July 27. Seat allotment result for open round counselling has been declared on August 11. Candidates had to do fresh registration and declare choices on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. Those who participated in round-2 counselling but didn't get any seat are eligible for the open round counselling. INI CET 2023 round-2 counselling result was declared on July 7. INI CET qualified candidates have to register on the official website, aiimsexams. ac.in to participate in the counselling. Seats are allotted based on declared choices, availability of seats in particular course, INI CET score etc. 4 rounds of counselling will be held for 1,070 seat allotment.

Lalit Narayan Mithila University earlier known as Mithila University was established in 1972 as a state university and is approved by UGC (University Grants Commission). If a candidate wants to get admission in this university, he/she must have cleared the accepted entrance exams with a relevant score. For this, prior preparation is important. Before going for entrance exam, the candidate must check JEE Main past paper analysis to understand the difficulty level of the exam. LNMU, through various affiliated colleges and departments, offers undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and various other courses to students across Commerce, Economics, English and various other streams. Being the state university, the fee for various undergraduate, postgraduate, and various other courses is not very high.
