The placement is decent, especially for engineering and management branches. Some 70% of students are hired by companies such as TCS and Amazon recruiting on campus. Packages generally range from INR 3 to INR 4 Lacs per annum, but some manage to get better deals. It's not the best, but it's fine if you know and work hard.

Gujarat Maritime University has hardly been a name in national management rankings such as NIRF because the area is narrower, knowing for itself doing courses in maritime law, logistics, and management rather than normal all-comprehensive MBA programs.

The tution fee for the LL.M in maritime law at GMU is INR 120,000 for the entire duration of the course.

This is relatively affordable comparing to other unviersities specialised for this course.

The hostel fees for the university is INR 70,200 per year.

Also there is a one time admission fee in hostel which is of INR 17000 .

So overall, the price is affordable.

The eligibilitiy criteria for getting admission in GMU is :

You should have a Bachelors degree with minimum 50% marks and if you are from SC/ ST/ SEBC/ EWS then 45% .

You need to appear for GMU Entrance Exam or have an above cut off score in CMAT or CAT.

You can submit the application form from the GMU website.

Application fee for General Category is INR 1000 and others is INR 500.

Gujarat Maritime University (GMU) has a strong record but it does not guarntee 100% placement record for all of its student.

The university offers execellent placement opportunitis, especially for its MBA stuents in Shipping and Logistics. 

Mostly the students are recording a good response in terms of placements and that too in Shipping and Logistics.

The MBA in Shiping and Logistics at Gujarat Maritime University is a 2 years course, divided into 4 semesters.

The total tution fees is approximately INR 1.25 lakhs for the entire couse.

To join it you must have completed the bachelor's degree with minimum score of 50%.

No, you can't get addmission to the Gujrat Maritime University without taking the CLAT ENTRANCE exam for LLM. CLAT is required to be cleared with a minimum of 75% to get enrolled in the university.
