Few IIMs have either increased the fees or have processed the increase. MBA candidates will now have to pay around 5-17 percent more for the 2018-20 batch. Inflationary pressure and high operational cost including infrastructure cost and faculty salaries are the main reasons cited behind the fee hike by the officials of IIMs. Candidates will now pay Rs. 80,000-2 lakh more for their MBAs in the academic year 2018-20.
