IIT Ropar MSc eligibility criteria is as follows:

The institute offers various scholarships like Merit-cum-Means, Institute-Free Studentship, etc. The institute offers Merit-cum-Means Scholarships to undergraduate students in Engineering and Technology. These are provided to about 25% of the students. The present value of Merit-cum-Means scholarship is INR 1,000 per month for General Category students and the recipient is exempted from paying tuition fees. Additionally, Merit-cum-Means Scholarships is also offered to MSc students. 

To get admission in IIT Ropar students have to check the eligibility first. Eligible students can then apply online. IIT Ropar accepts students on an entrance basis primarily. Seats are offered through the counselling process. Selected students have to pay the admission fees to complete the process.

The minimum requirements for admission to the M.Sc in Environmental Sciences programme at JNTUH are:

• A Bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks.
• A valid score in the National Eligibility Test (NET) or the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). 
• A good academic record.
• A valid passport.
• A medical certificate.

Qualification for M.Tech in RV College of Engineering is pass in BE/BTech or equivalent degree with minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 45% for SC/ST candidates. Duration of M.Tech programme is 2 years. Selection for M.Tech admission can be based on PGCET also known as Post Graduate Common Entrance Test,  GATE commonly known as Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering or college level entrance exam.
