Hello Tanvi, it's nice to aim for government job but if I may ask then why government job? Okay. Let me explain. As per law government can not discriminate between students who pass out of IIT or from engineering colleges in remote places. Hence you will never find government coming to IIT or big colleges during placements. However government announces vacancies and gets these filled up through UPSC. Here any student who meets the criteria set, can apply, pass it and get job. As you can SEE it makes no difference as to from what college you have passed out. it's indeed great to know that you are interested in doing your graduation in engineering after completion of your diploma. At one place you are saying via open meaning distance education and at another place you are saying part time. These two are different. Engineering graduation vua distance education is not allowed in India. But part time is allowed. Hence seek clarification from college about this issue before paying fees etc. Best wishes to you.

Hello Tanvi Parmar, frankly speaking what will happen four years from today, when you will pass out of engineering college, actually nobody can predict. In addition I can say that the jobs in the government sector are not increasing but in fact reducing every year. Be that as it may, let me assure you that total jobs will increase in India since there is huge scope. You may NIT get government job but surely job in private sector will be available. Don't worry and concentrate on learning. Best wishes to you.

For Electronics & Instrumentation (EIE) MIT Manipal is considered better due to its strong reputation in technical education, particularly for core engineering fields. They have experienced faculty and well-equipped labs.

For Computer Science Engineering (CSE) MITWPU Pune is generally considered a stronger choice for CSE. This is because its placements are typically better with well experienced and qualified faculty. The curriculum is also more aligned with current industry trends.
