Mr./ Ms. Khan, If you are confused about careers after 12th/ graduation, there are a few ways to approach this. One, is to go for a career counsellor who would take parametric tests and identify your strengths and weaknesses and advise career categories to attempt. Also, if you are very good with, and like maths and programming, you may opt for Computers (BTech or BCA). Whereas, if you are good with Drawing and Creative opt for Design (Animation, VFX, Games, Fashion). If you are good with words become a writer (content, news, fiction, ads) or director. If you are good with keeping records go for Accounts or Stats or administration. If you are good with logic and have patience go for Law. If you are good at memorizing and love nature and are caring go for medical. If you are good with people and are quick with decisions, go for Management. If you are good with nothing become a politician (haha, pun intended - actually you need very good insight into future for this). Wish you the best for your career. Overall I will say that it's okay collage. But every collage has its own share of pros and cons-the goods about Ibs are its value for money that is ROI, you pay 7.5 lacs for 2 year and if you study sincerely then you will be able to get a package of 6-8 lacs which is more than what you have invested.there are chances that you can get into big organisation s like jpmc,delloite, crisil,Bloomberg, sbi,berger,tcs, Then comes faculty the visiting faculties in Ibs Mumbai are awesome ,even full time faculties are good except for few. Then Teaching is okay but you have to put a lot of hardword to score good marks.
The best thing about Ibs is its tight schedule which will make u learn how to deal with stress and how to manage time.there are various clubs where you will be able to show your talent.
The bad thing is less practical knowledge I.e they are focused more on theory.
Some of faculties are not that good.
Their intake is very big (800 students in current batch) which makes is quite a difficult to place all students with good package.
So overall I will suggest you that if you think that you will be able to compete with such a batch strength and can get good placement then it is good for you to take admission otherwise check another collage

Salary is a function of various factors - i.e. (i) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - i.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile i.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.
