JEE Main counselling schedule is released by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority after the declaration of the JEE Main result. The counselling shall be conducted in the months of June and July, tentatively. There seat allotment process is carried out through JoSAA counselling. Students securing the required marks in JEE Advanced become eligible for participation in counselling for admission to NITs, IIITs and other GFTIs including IIT BHU.

Yes, IIT Bhu provides scholarships. Merit-cum-Means scholarships are offered to 25% of undergraduate students, and there are also endowment scholarships available. Other forms of financial aid are offered in the form of Institute free studentships, scholarships, reimbursement of mess charges and pocket allowances to students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
