MMS is a general management program affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It has four semesters spanning over a period of two years.
Admission:
Admissions to the 2 year full time MMS Degree Program takes place through the centralized admission procedure laid down by the DTE Mumbai, Maharashtra State.
Eligibility:
Basic Qualification:
In order to secure admission to first year of two-year full time MBA/ MMS program, the candidate should fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
Passed with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only) in any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities
OR
Appeared for the final year examination of any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. Such candidates can be considered for provisional admission subject to passing the Degree exam with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only).
OR
Passed with any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities AND passed in any Post Graduate degree course of minimum two years duration recognized by the Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories belonging to Maharashtra State only)
OR
Passed with any Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities AND Appeared for the final year examination of any Post Graduate degree of minimum two years duration in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities. UPSC Civil Services Examination Eligibility:
1. Nationality
For the Indian Administrative Service and the Indian Police Service, a candidate must be a citizen of India.
For other services, a candidate must be either:—
a citizen of India, or
a subject of Nepal, or
a subject of Bhutan, or
a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India
2. A graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
3. Age Limits :
A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, 2013, Date of birth should not be earlier than 2nd August, 1983 and not later than 1st August, 1992.

Hi,
Indian Foreign Service officers are recruited under the combined Civil Services Examination administered by the Union Public Service Commission.
It has three stages - a preliminary exam, a main exam, and an interview - and is known for being extremely challenging. The entire selection process lasts for about 12 months.
On acceptance to the Foreign Service, new entrants undergo significant training. that begins at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration in Mussoorie.
After completing the training, the probationers join the Foreign Service Institute in New Delhi for more training as well as attachments with different government bodies and tours both in India and abroad. The entire training program is for a period of 36 months.
Further the officers are assigned a compulsory foreign language (CFL). After a brief period of desk attachment in the Ministry of External Affairs, the officers are posted to an Indian diplomatic mission abroad where the CFL is the native language.
There the officer undergoes language training and is expected to develop proficiency in his CFL and pass an examination before being allowed to continue in the service.
