APG is a good choice, if you are residence of local. You can check the approval of BCI for legal courses. Law college not matter if your goal after B
A LL.B. Is practise or judiciary. If you are clear with your goal, the knowledge of law matter rather than college. But I will suggest you to explore on other good options available to you. Best wishes.

Yes, it is definitely possible for commerce students to move to data Science. Commerce degrees aren't really the direct ticket to get into data Science, but if you opt for some courses and bootcamps, it would be worthy enough to land a job and make your career in the field of data Science.
