Students are compulsorily required to attend JEE exam for the admission. To qualify for a basic BSc course, a candidate generally needs a minimum of 50 % in Class 12th whereas some top colleges requiring 60 %.

It is compulsory to attempt JEE for the admission for B Sc. at Institute of Hotel Management Bhopal. 

Admissions in the 3-year B.Sc. course are done based only upon the rank one candidate gets in the All-India Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) conducted by NCHMCT. 

A candidate should have passed 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognized Educational Board. The minimum cut off marks changes every year it depends on various factors like number of aplications received, number of seats intake in the preffered course, performance of students in entrance exam (NCHMCT JEE) in that particular year like whether paper was easy or difficult.

According to the latest data provided on internet is of year 2021 placements the placement cell is actively working in Institute of Hotel Management, Bhopal placement cell is actively indulged in placements activitites with the recruiters in the year 2021,

Total 232 students were in the batch in which 139 students participated in the placement drive conducted by various recruiters and in 52 students got placed.

The highest offered package was 3.5 LPA whereas, the lowest package was 2.5 LPA.

The top recruiters of the year was Raddison, Mc'donalds, Myntra, Reliance etc.s. were participated in the drive.

Unfortunately, the cut-off for admission is not predictable as it changes from year to year it depends on various factors like number of applications received, number of seats intakes, performance of students in the All india Joint Entrance Exam.

There is no other provision for admission to these degree courses. but if we see general points like:

Placements : IHM, Gwalior has better placement record as well as better average package and the highest package the placement record was almost 85% last year average package was 4 LPA and the highest was 6.5 LPA whereas, in case of the IHM, Bhopal the 52 students were placed in 232 students in 2021 and the average package was 2.5 LPA & the highest was 3.5 LPA.
