Institute of hotel management in Shimla is a government college. The course offered by this college is B.Sc in hospitality and hotel management. This college provide very peaceful and healthy environment and the best scenery for the students to study. The faculty and teachers are also very much supportive.

Yes, Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Shimla is infact better than AIHM Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Shimla. The IHM is run by the government, and government recognised certifications are more valued in India. The education and curriculum are similar for both the IHM and AIHM. But the fee structure for the IHM is less compared to that of AIHM. There is a drastic difference between the two. The admission criteria for B.Sc at SRM Institute of hotel management is passed out 12 standard or
passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum 50 percent in exam
Also 10+2 pass in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) should have been studied as main subjects and minimum all subject 50 percentage
But the SRM is not accept the 10+2 basic admission so you need to qualify the entrance exam which is SRM JEEE entrance exam
