Absolutely, MBA is the choice of every person who wants growth, the two years spent on doing MBA will take your career further by 10 years. I would recommend you to go for domains like MBA in oil and gas, aviation management, Power Management, Port and Shipping, Logistics Management etc. these domains are different from the traditional ones, i would recommend to try for B-Schools like UPES Dehradun, Christ University, Alliance Business School etc. which can offer you a good knowledge, growth and placement.

IIMs usually place a lot of value to your past academic performance. But they tend to normalize the score before assigning the score to them. Hence, if 60% marks in that board is above average then you should not worry too much about that. Even without that, if you do really well in CAT so that your CAT score compensates for everything else, you stand a good chance. Also certain IIMs place very little value to 10th and 12th marks. For example, IIMC and IIML. Hence do not worry about the past and focus on future and do well in CAT.

Navneet,
A regular MBA is always considered better than a correspondence because with regular MBA, you get to be part of proper classroom programs, you get to meet fellow students and the whole experience of going through an MBA program is what gives you most out of it. It is not just about getting a degree.
Go for a correspondence MBA only when it is absolutely not possible for you to leave your job and spend a year or two without any source of income. Although, it might not give you even half the career boost that a regular MBA does, it may help you a bit in career progression.

It indeed is one of the best for M.Tech in renewable energy and resources, I can't give you the exact figure about the placement thing, but yes, for sure it provides one of the best placement in this domain than the rest of the college, if you ask me personally i would certainly recommend you UPES for this course as this is the only core domain university and UPES placements in engineering are consistently above 85%. Admissions notification is already out so hurry up. Go ahead and pursue it fearlessly. All the best
