No, students cannot get direct admission in Xavier Law School UG courses. The final selection of the students is done on merit basis. The seat allotment is done on the basis of  entrance tests (XLET/ M-XLET), academic performance in Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, and personal interview.

Technically, both exams are same. Over the past few years, te board has neen conducting the CG Board 10th 2nd main exams in place of compartment exams. In both the exams, the students who failed in the final exams can appear. Students who want to improve their marks can appear for CGBSE 10th 2nd main exams.
