Hi there,
SDM College of Engineering & Technology is a good college for B.Tech. You can get core branches in lower rank but the placements, etc., are not good for in core branches in SDMCET, so try to go for CSE & IT (you will get CSE with a rank under 20,000 and ISE at a rank under 22,000).

If you belong to the general category then there are chances that you will not be able to get CS branch in this college in the first round of counselling but if you belong to any other category then you will be able to get the college with CS branch with utmost ease.

From this year onwards the entrance exam in TN is scrapped and basis is marks obtained in 12th. Actually, with this percentile, you can get good colleges. But it totally depends on you as for this score, colleges with good placement records will not be there. So, if you want to study and placements don't matter much then you can do. Or else, I will suggest you give your CMAT/CAT and other MBA exams. You can get a lot better.
