You can sit for the improvement exams. According to the latest notification by CBSE , student needs to have minimum 75% in class 12th or he/she needs to be in the top 20 percentile of there respective boards to appear for JEE Mains 2017 and from 2017 no 40% weightage will be given to 12th marks in calculating the final JEE score.

Yes, you should go for B.Tech. A graduation in engineering will open up a range of employment avenues for you.As far as education is concerned you can go for post graduate/advanced courses also which unfortunately a diploma engineer can not. All the best.

SAT is the standardized aptitude test for admissions in the universities of USA and Canada mostly. It mostly includes high school level mathematics, english and reasoning skills.
