Indira Gandhi National Open University course admissions are broadly conducted in two cycles, i.e. January and July. The admissions for various courses are mainly based on the aggregate scores obtained by several candidates in the last qualifying degree. However, for B.Ed admission is based on the IGNOU B.Ed Entrance Test exam conducted at the institution level.

Not all course admissions at NEHU University Shillong are based on CUET. BTech admissions are based on JEE Main. For various courses like BCA, BA, BSc, and others, CUET is accepted by the NEHU University Shillong. CUET (Common University Entrance Test) is an all-India level entrance examination which is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency) for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The competition is high so prepare well in advance to clear the CUET exams with good scores.

I can suggest that you check the official website of MSU (Maharaja Sayajirao University) or contact the university's admission office directly to get the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the admissions process for the Diploma in Mechanical Engineering program. Typically, admission cycles for such programs begin several months before the start of the academic year, so it would be a good idea to check with the university well in advance to ensure that you don't miss any important deadlines.
