A person who has passed one of the following examinations from Panjab University or from any other University, whose examination has been recognised as equivalent to the corresponding examination of this University, shall be eligible to join the Semester -I of the M.A. Course: (i) B.A. with Honours in the Subject of the Postgraduate Programme; (ii) (a) Bachelor’s degree in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate; (b) Diploma in Physical Education examination or Post-Graduate Diploma in Library Science after having passed B.A. or B.Sc; (iii) (a) The B.A. (Pass) examination in full subjects obtaining at least 45% marks in the elective subject of the Post-Graduate Course; (b) Or has obtained B.A. Degree through English only regulations obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject of Post-Graduate Course; (iv) Obtained B.A. degree, after passing examination in an Oriental Classical Language or a Modern Indian Language with at least 45 per cent marks Passed one of the following examinations from a recognised University/Institute:Bachelor’s Degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject of Post-Graduate course or 50% marks in aggregate B.A./B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons).or Master’s degree examination in any other subject provided the candidate has studied Punjabi compulsory at graduate level.or a Modern Indian Language with at least 45 per cent marks (out of the aggregate excluding the additional paper) at the Honours in Oriental Titles or Modern Indian Languages examination, in the subject of Post-Graduate course; (v) Master’s degree examination in another subject or another faculty (Not applicable for M.A. Punjabi Course) (vi) The B.A. examination under Social Service Regulations or under War Regulations and has subsequently passed in the subject concerned at the B.A. examination obtaining at least 45 per cent marks; (vii) B.Sc. Honours School; (Any one of the following): (i) A Bachelor’s Degree obtaining at least 45% marks in the subject of Postgraduate course, or 50% marks in the aggregate (ii) B.A. with Honours in the subject of the Postgraduate Programme or B.Sc. (Hons). School. (iii) Master’s Degree examination in any other subjects other than in physical Education.

To seek direct admission for the B.A. (Hons.) in Economics course at Ashoka University Sonepat, students must meet specific eligibility criteria.

1. Students should have studied mathematics in Classes 11 and 12 to be eligible for any economics-related major or minor.
2. If a student has not studied mathematics in Classes 11 and 12, they need to take MAT 1000: Calculus (a 1000-level course) offered by the Mathematics department in their first semester and secure at least an A- grade.
3. The four-year Economics and Public Policy UG degree (BA Hons. degree) requires 20 major courses, each of 4 credits, including 12 compulsory courses in Economics and 8 economics or public policy electives, with at least 4 public policy electives.
4. The three-year Economics and Public Policy UG degree (BA degree) comprises 15 major courses, each of 4 credits, including 9 compulsory Economics major courses and 6 economics or public policy electives, with at least 3 public policy electives.

These are the primary eligibility criteria for direct admission to the B.A. (Hons.) in Economics course at Ashoka University Sonepat.

To seek direct admission for the B.Sc. in Nursing course at Owaisi College of Nursing, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria:* The candidate should have passed 10+2 from a recognised board with English as a subject.* The candidate should have scored at least 45% marks in physics, chemistry, and biology taken together and passed in English individually.* The minimum age for admission is 17 years, and the maximum age limit is 35 years.* The candidate should be medically fit.* Married candidates are also eligible for admission.* Color-blind candidates are eligible provided that color-corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates.* English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for being eligible for admission to B.Sc (Nursing).* Candidates from a state-open school recognised by the state government and the National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognised by the central government as having Science subjects and English only are also eligible.

To seek direct admission for the M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering course at NIT Jalandhar, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. Candidates who have been awarded a 4-year Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology/ BSc (Engineering) from a recognised University with a valid GATE score or Master’s Degree in an appropriate branch of sciences with a first class or minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5) or equivalent and a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR fellowship are eligible to apply for admission to M.Tech. Programme of the Institute.

2. Candidates sponsored by industries/R&D organizations/national laboratories having academic qualifications as above with preferably two years of experience are eligible to apply for the M.Tech. Programme. However, a valid GATE score or UGC/CSIR fellowship is not required.

3. For a foreign national candidate who applies through the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India, or Indian Council of Cultural Relation, Govt. of India, are eligible to apply provided that they possess the same minimum academic qualifications as given above.

4. All in-service candidates must have to submit a No Objection Certificate of their employers.

5. The candidates should have passed and secured at least 6.5 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 60% for OC/OC-EW/OB, whereas 6.0 CGPA (on a 10-point scale) or 55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.

6. GATE Qualified candidates shall be admitted without any entrance test, based upon the GATE score. Non-GATE candidates shall be admitted based upon the admission test to be carried out by the respective department (s).

The eligibility criteria for direct admission to the B.Sc. in Nursing course at College of Nursing, Navi Mumbai are:* The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on 31 December of the year in which admission is sought. The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering course at SRM IST are:- Resident Indian or Non-Resident Indian (NRI), holder of PIO or OCI card issued by Government of India.- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics) or PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology).- Students who have not studied Mathematics as one of the major subjects in +2 must undertake an additional 4 credit courses in Mathematics during the First Year of B.Tech.- Students who have not studied Chemistry should undergo a bridge course in Chemistry in the first year.
