The admission criteria for B.Tech in Marine Engineering at HIMT Chennai for reserved category students is the same as for general category students. The eligibility criteria include:

• Engineering College Graduates (Mechanical/Electrical): Candidates who have passed the 1st year from an Engineering College in streams like Mechanical or Electrical, approved by AICTE, with a minimum of 60% average marks.
• Diploma Holders in Engineering: Candidates who have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in Mechanical / Marine / Electrical / Electrical and Electronics, from colleges approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the last year of the Diploma Course.
• Alternate Training Scheme Graduates: Candidates who have completed the 1st year of training from the Alternate Training Scheme, approved by D.G. Shipping.
• Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering: Candidates who have passed a 4-year Diploma in Shipbuilding Engineering from colleges approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education, with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks in the last year of the Diploma course.
• Diploma in Specific Engineering Streams: Candidates who have passed a 3-year Diploma Course in specific engineering streams, from colleges approved by AICTE or State Board of Technical Education, with a minimum of 55% of aggregate marks in the last year of the Diploma Course.

Additionally, candidates must be medically fit, including eye sight and hearing, as prescribed in the Merchant Shipping (Medical Examination) Rules, 2000, as amended, and need to produce a certificate of medical fitness issued by D.G. Shipping Approved Doctor.

Candidates must also appear for the IMU-CET (Common Entrance Test) conducted by the Indian Maritime University (IMU) and hold an IMUCET Rank to get their admission for the course.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing at AIIMS Deoghar is as follows:

• Other Backward Class (OBC): 27% of seats are reserved
• Scheduled Caste (SC): 15% of seats are reserved
• Scheduled Tribe (ST): 7.5% of seats are reserved
• Economically Weaker Section (EWS): 10% of seats are reserved

Candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with 50% for Gen/OBC (NCL)/EWS (45% in case of SC/ST categories) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and any one of Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Statistics/Electronics/Psychology.

The admission will be made entirely on the basis of performance of candidates at the Entrance Examination conducted by the Institute.

The cut-off in qualifying marks for admission is required in the entrance test for all BSc courses, which is 50% for UR/EWS, 45% for OBC, and 40% for SC and ST.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for Master of Business Administration (MBA) at YCCE is as follows:- The candidate should be an Indian National.- The candidate should have passed a minimum three-year duration Bachelor’s Degree awarded by any of the Universities recognised by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent.- The candidate should have obtained a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority (MAHMBA/MMS-CET) or a positive score in any one of the following examinations: CAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, MAT, or GMAT.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for M.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Patna is as follows:- The programme is open to candidates with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Technology/M Sc or equivalent professional degrees and having a valid GATE score.- Candidates must have a minimum of 55% marks (or a CGPA of 6.0 in 10-point scale) in the final qualifying examination for SC/ST categories.- Selection is based on performance in GATE for Regular and Full-time category.- For other categories (Project Staff, Part-time, and Sponsored), written test/interview shall be conducted. - A valid GATE score in CS is required for M.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering.

The admission criteria for B.A. (Hons.) in Vocal Music at Rabindra Bharati University for reserved category students are as follows:

• Minimum Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the H.S. Examination or its equivalent with special aptitude in the concerned subject are eligible to apply.

  2. Written Test: Qualified candidates will undergo a written test with the same qualifying marks as the practical test.
  3. Merit List: The aggregate score of the total marks will be used to prepare the merit list, subject to verification.
  
  
• Break of study admissible: Two years, i.e., candidates who have passed H.S. or its equivalent in 2024, 2023, or 2022 are eligible to apply.
• Intake: 128 seats for Vocal Music, with reservation as per government rules.

For reserved category students, the admission criteria for M.S. by Research in Computer Science and Engineering at IIT Bombay are:- A minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the qualifying degree.- A minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA)/ Cumulative Performance Index (CPI) of 5.5 on the scale of 0-10.- Valid GATE score in CS is required for all applicants except those having B.Tech. Degree in any discipline from IITs with CGPA/ CPI of 8.00 (on 0-10 scale) or above.- Eligible applicants will be shortlisted for the admissions process on the basis of their GATE score.- Admissions will be based on a written test and interview given to shortlisted candidates.
