Seats under Different Schemes

85% seats of total approved intake will be filled through JEE Main rank and counselling to be conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University and remaining 15% seats of approved intake will be filled by direct admissions.

Through Direct Admission:

Candidate has to apply online through the institute website. Institute will shortlist the candidate on the basis of their PCM merit at 10+2 level & candidate will be called for written test and personal interview. On successful completion of a written test and interview, the candidate will be offered admission.

Eligibility Criteria Admission Entrance B.E./B.Tech in the KIET Group of Institutions, Ghaziabad. Step-wise Eligible Criterion is given as follows:

1. Eligibility Criteria Academic Qualification-passed 10+2 or equivalent: Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry or Biology/Biotechnology should be compulsory central subjects. Minimum Marks: Generally for general category candidates 45% but 40% for reserved category candidates. Entrance Test: Admission to the course is done through counselling by AKTU (Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University). It involves scoring appropriate marks in JEE Mains.   Admission
1. JEE Main: In Admission, The entry to the examination and filling of the form is done by NTA. This is the first phase for admission.
2. UPCET/AKTU Counseling: go for counseling Fill up your name in AKTU counselling which is available on the website of AKTU itself,  KIET Group of Institutions must be among the options when you will fill in your choice.

Step 3: Seat Allotments. The seat allotment shall be allowed strictly based on your ranks in JEE Main, in case you clear it a provisional admission letter will be issued,

Step 4: Documentation and Fee Payment: Allotted applicants will have to apply for document verification and fee payment at the institute or counselling centre for their entry fixation.
