Yes, it may be hard for Indian students to get into TU Darmstadt as its acceptance rate is around 56%. As per some other sources, it may also go as low as 29% too. 

The TU Darmstadt admissions rely heavily on the previous GPA conversion to the German grading system. The German scale is a little different from the Indian one where 1.0 is the best and 4.0 is a pass.

No, there is no upper age limit for admission in Travel and Tourism course. regardless at the UG level or the PG level. 
Even for entrance exams like CAT, MAT, XAT there is no upper age limit.  There is also no maximum limit of attempts for them. Students must keep in mind that all necessary documentation should be available at the time of admission.

No, you don't necessarily have to give an entrance exam. There are colleges that also accept class 12th scores (for UG courses) and UG degree scores (for PG courses).
