Hello C Aakash, Yes, the figure given out by NTA is percentile figure. You can call it normalized score also. JEE Mains was conducted over six different sessions. Now difficulty level cannot be exactly same. Hence scores are normalized or percentile to take care of this. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about this. https://www-shiksha-com.cdn.ampproject.org/v/s/www.shiksha.com/b-tech/articles/amp/jee-main-2019-percentile-score-blogId-19949?amp_js_v=a2&_gsa=1&usqp=mq331AQCCAE=#referrer=https://www.google.com&_tf=From %1$s&share=https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/articles/jee-main-2019-percentile

NTA has announced results for the exam of JEE Mains that they conducted just now. They have not declared any cutoff. I feel the cutoffs will be declared only after second set of exams are over. Since cutoffs are same for both the sets exams. I suggest you see the announcement of the same by NTA in April.

According to the new scheme of JEE Main 2019 and the last year result analysis of JEE Mains, it has been seen that, if you have more than 50% mark in your JEE Main paper, then you will get a chance to get admission in the state NITs using your state quota. No, this year they are introduced the percentile scheme, so there is very less chance of getting any NIT according to your mark obtained. Don't get depressed and keep yourself motivated there are lots of opportunity will come in your life and try to write the private engineering exams also, so that you will get a chance to get admission in good private engineering College.
