The RRB ALP Syllabus and Exam Pattern is released by the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB). The selection process includes CBT I, CBT II, CBAT and Document Verification. The RRB ALP CBT 2 Syllabus includes mainly three subjects. 

RRB ALP CBT 2 Syllabus for Part A

Mathematics:

Number system, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work; Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Square Root, Age Calculations, Calendar & Clock, Pipes & Cistern etc.

General Intelligence and Reasoning:

Analogies, Alphabetical and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and decision making, Similarities and differences, Analytical reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement—Arguments and Assumptions etc.

Basic Science and Engineering:

The broad topics that are covered under this shall be Engineering Drawing (Projections, Views, Drawing Instruments, Lines, Geometric figures, Symbolic Representation), Units, Measurements, Mass Weight and Density, Work Power and Energy, Speed and Velocity, Heat and Temperature, Basic Electricity, Levers and Simple Machines, Occupational Safety and Health, Environment Education, IT Literacy etc.

RRB ALP CBT 2 Syllabus for Part-B

Part-B is only a qualifying test in nature and shall have questions from the various trade syllabi as prescribed by Directorate General of Training (DGT).  

RRB ALP is conducted in several stages first stage CBT, second stage CBT, and CBAT. CBT 1 is common for ALP and Technician posts. RRB ALP syllabus for this stage includes Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, General Awareness and Current Affairs.

General Science - Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences

General Awareness & Current Affairs - Science & Technology, Sports and Culture, Personalities, Economics, Indian Polity.

In first two CBTs questions will come in MCQ format. The third stage is CBAT, where candidates will be given five test batteries. The CBT carries 75 objective-type multiple-choice questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence, and Reasoning, General Science and General awareness on current affairs. The test carries a total of 75 marks. The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The standard of questions in first stage CBT is framed as per the educational qualification prescribed for the posts. The pattern for second stage is divided into parts-A and B. Part A of the second stage CBT comprises 100 objective-type questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Basic Science and Engineering and General Awareness on Current Affairs. Part B carries questions based on the candidate's discipline.

All the school authorities can download the Class 12 Admit Card 2026 MP Board using application numberF6/roll number and captcha code. Once downloaded, the schools are required to distribute the admit cards among the students.

Regular students need to collect their MPBSE Class 12th admit card 2026 from their respective schools before the deadline. However, only private students can download the MPBSE admit card class 12th from the official website of the board.

Here is how one can go about the pursuit of a B.Sc. in Dietetics after having done their B.Sc. in Home Science and M.Sc. in Food and Nutrition:

Check for Eligibility: The eligibility criteria for most universities offering a B.Sc. in Dietetics are the remarks regarding background in Home Science, Food Science, or Nutrition. Hence, you will be eligible for most institutions based on your qualifications.

Search for Universities:- Search for colleges or universities that offer a B.Sc. programme in Dietetics. Some famous ones in India include:

Application Process: After you have shortlisted a few colleges, check their admission requirements and apply. Generally, most universities conduct an entrance or admit students based on merit.

Consider Bridge Courses :- Some institutes have bridge courses to help students smoothen out the transition into the specialisation of dietetics. These courses include medical nutrition therapy, clinical dietetics, and diet management.

Internship and Certification:- Upon completion of the B.Sc, students must pursue internships or obtain certification from recognised authorities such as the Indian Dietetic Association (IDA) to be considered qualified dietitians.
