That depends in which college or institution you want to take admission and which year 2016 or 2017. Though many institution accept only cat others do accept mat , GMAT , cmat and even some institution having own test for admission.
Firstly make list in which divide the institutions into three level A B and c according your interest and their reputation.

As per my experience and knowledge, B.Com private student take admission in any approved university for MBA, because for MBA the minimum requirement is that you have to post graduation degree with minimum 55% marks, there is no matter that you have passed your graduation from any private Institute or regular Institute.

I presume its B Sc. After B Sc you may opt for MBA if you wish to climb the corporate ladder. If you are interested in Sciences or Mathematics, you may opt for an M Sc after which you may attempt to clear NET and complete your M Phil or PhD to pursue academic or research based careers. Again for B Sc holders some universities in Tamilnadu permit lateral entry admissions to their BE programmes.
