Hello Pallab,Yes the gap certificate is required at the time of admission. When you will be applying, don't be so worried about these secondary documents. You can give Undertaking for those documents in the institute. Generally a 15 days time period is given to students and that can also be extended further.

Talking About 2018-2019 Placements:
I will be more specific about Computer Science. Also, will have light on Non-Core Branches. The decent Average placement is INR. 4.82 lacs. The institute has got almost 100% placements for Computer Science and engineering and the highest package is INR. 12.23 lacs,Job opportunities are fairly good. According to the placement officer C. When there's a will followed by passion, there's definitely a way. People can learn afresh at any interval of time. Even with background of hotel industry you can change in to fashion designing. As you are 32 years old I assume you have additional responsibilities and since if you switch career now it may be a little harsh in the beginning. So, have mutual understanding with friends and family before taking decision.
Any ways no need to worry as with your experience you can go back to hotel industry anytime. Feel free to change path.

MITID that exam pattern is such that there will be both subjective and objective questions in the exam. Maximum marks aspirants can secure in the exam are 100. Besides this, there is no fixed MITID that 2019 exam pattern regarding the number and type of questions, informed a college official.
