The role of IIT Bombay is to conduct the CEED 2024 entrance exam and declare the exam results. It will play no role in the post-result admission process, including counseling. This means the candidate will have to approach the CEED 2024 participating and result-sharing colleges on their based on their CEED 2024 merit ranks. Considering the application process should have started by now, you are urged to visit the admission portal of the concerned institute.

The KARTET (Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test) scorecard typically contains the following details:

1. Candidate's Name: The scorecard will display the name of the candidate who appeared for the KARTET exam.
2. Roll Number: The unique roll number assigned to the candidate for the KARTET examination will be mentioned on the scorecard.

7. Total Marks: The total marks obtained by the candidate in the KARTET exam will be mentioned on the scorecard.
8. Qualifying Status: The scorecard will indicate whether the candidate has qualified the KARTET examination or not.
9. Signature and Seal: The scorecard will usually bear the signature of the authorized person and the official seal of the conducting authority.

The KARTET passing marks for the General category are 60% (90 marks out of 150). Candidates who belong to the General category and score 60% or more marks in the KARTET exam are considered to have passed the exam. However, it is important to note that achieving the minimum qualifying marks does not guarantee selection for a teaching job. Candidates who pass the KARTET exam are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in primary and upper primary schools in the state of Karnataka, subject to fulfilling other eligibility criteria mentioned in the recruitment notification. It is also important to note that the KARTET passing marks may vary from year to year based on factors such as the number of candidates appearing for the exam, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of vacancies available for teachers in primary and upper primary schools in Karnataka.

However, it is important to note that qualifying the KARTET exam does not guarantee a job as a teacher. The selection process for the KARTET exam involves the following steps:

KARTET (Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test) exam consists of two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Each paper has 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with four options and a single correct answer. The total marks for both papers are 150, with each question carrying one mark. The distribution of questions and marks in each paper is as follows :-

• Paper 1: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. 
• Paper 2: The 150 MCQs are divided into five sections, with 30 questions in each section. The sections are Child Development and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Science, and Social Studies/Social Science.

It is important to note that each question carries equal weightage, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers. Candidates must score a minimum of 60% marks to qualify the KARTET exam.

Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 5 need to qualify KARTET Paper 1. Candidates planning to teach Classes 6 to 8 need to qualify for KARTET Paper 2. Candidates planning to teach Classes 1 to 8 need to qualify both papers. The candidates have to apply for the papers according to their eligibility set by the board. The educational qualification criteria has been given below for the candidates:

• Paper 1 
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
  • Class 12 with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd)
• Paper 2
  • Graduation with a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education. Graduation with minimum 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in one-year BEd

Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (KARTET) is conducted by the Centralized Admission Cell (CAC), Office of the Commissioner of Public Instruction, Bangalore, Karnataka. The main purpose of the KARTET exam is to determine the eligibility of the candidates who want to become Classes 1 to 8 teachers in government schools of Karnataka. There are two papers in the KARTET- Paper 1 and Paper 2. KARTET Paper 1 is for those candidates who aspire to teach at the lower primary level (Classes 1 to 5) while KARTET Paper 2 is for those who aspire to teach at the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8). KARTET-qualified candidates are awarded the certificate of eligibility which remains valid for life now.

The difficulty level of the KARTET exam can vary depending on individual preparation and understanding of the subjects. Generally, the KARTET exam is considered moderately challenging.
