Established in Jabalpur in 2018, Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) is still developing its academic status and repute. Being a relatively recent establishment, it hasn't yet managed to get a spot on India's list of the best National Law Universities (NLUs), which are often headed by older, more reputable universities. Still, DNLU's academic environment and potential are beginning to be recognised. The selection for UG and PG programs is based on the candidate's performance in the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), conducted by the CLAT Consortium.
For Ph.D. admissions, the university conducts the DNLU National Level Entrance Test (DNLET), although candidates who have qualified for the UGC NET are exempted from DNLET.
Also certain interview is conducted for admission in the PhD courses.

No, you cannot join the institute without a valid CLAT score for admissions in the BALLB courses.
The eligibility criteria includes: Passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for reserved category).
While for the admission process it is mandatory to have a CLAT score and should be clearing the cutoff .

The minimum eligible criteria for LLM at Dharmashastra National law University is :
- L.L.B. or equivalent degree with a minimum of 50%
marks (45% for reserved category)
- valid CLAT score for the admission process
Last year the cutoff for the PG courses was nearly 1800 for the general category. So you need a good CLAT score to get admission in the institute for LLM courses.

The college has a dedicated training and placement cell that provides you certain internships and placement along with proper training.
The placement is improving with each coming year. Last year about 45+ students were placed in different companies .
So the placement here are good and there is good amount of opportunities to grab a placement or internship.
There is no official placement record available on the website so average CTC or salary is not known.

But according to students, last year 45+ students were placed out of number of 663 students.
When it comes to NLU Delhi, it has better placements than Dharmashastra National Law University. DNLU is a newly established college and still is in the growing phase. So it would be unfair to compare it with NLU Delhi.

There is no such information available on the website regarding the same.
They have clearly mentioned that information regarding the same will provided to the students post payment of the fees.
Thus, there is no such details regarding the cancellation of seats after taking admission or refund in any of those cases.

The Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU) B.A. LL.B. programme application fee is the same as the CLAT application fee. The application fee is approximately INR 4,000 for General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates and approximately INR 3,500 for SC/ST/BPL candidates. Indeed, the main and most important requirement for admission to Dharmashastra National Law University's B.A. LL.B. degree is the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). Dharmashastra National Law University Jabalpur was established in 2018. The university offers different courses like B.A. L.L.B. (Hons), L.L.M, and Ph.D. Students can get admission to DNLU Jabalpur based on their performance in the entrance exam for law.
It will be a good choice if you have performed well in the CLAT exam and looking for a good college to pursue your BA LLB course.

The courses offered includes BALLB, LLM, BBALLB, PhD and many more. It offers both the undergraduate as well the post graduate courses.
The admissions to the various courses are done on the basis of scores in the CLAT exam.
The fees of these are affordable i.e. you can do
BBLLB for a total of 5.5 Lakhs.
So the courses offered here are quite good and the faculty members are also well qualified and supportive.
It will be a good college if you are planning to take admission in the law courses here.

The BA LLB is a 5 year integrated course at the Dharmashastra National Law University.
The fee is 1.1 Lakh each year for the BA LLB course while the total fee for the complete course is 5.5 lakh.
In addition, proper hostel facilities are also provided if u are planning to leave the campus.

The fees is different for each course at the institute. The tuition fees for the B.A. L.L.B programs are Rs. 1,10,000.
The total fees will be 5.5 Lakhs for a full course at Dharmashastra National Law University.
The same is the fee structure for L.L.M. courses which is 1.1 Lakhs per year and a total of 5.5 Lakhs for the complete course.
So u will find that the fees are comparable and you may find it a bit high compared to other colleges in Madhya Pradesh.
