It just depends on you only to opt out a suitable branch. All you need is to clear your goals. If you want to try for civil services like IES or work in PSUs then you should choose mechanical as it is a core branch and it would be easy there to choose your subjects in exam but if you want to work in field of softwares then you should select computer sciences. Regarding jobs, both branches can provide you various good jobs.
