GCET is much better than Galgotias University because GU is a newer one and people who joined GCET must have cleared UPSEE or JEE, so they must have scored good marks. The placements and all are also better here at GU.

If you have to ultimately go into hotel management then better go directly into it and then pursue Masters in that. However, the packages that you get range from 3 to 7 LPA and the career in this field in India does not seem to be very promising, until you run your own hotel.
