Hello, Yes, it is necessary to UGC NET Exam to become an Assistant Professor. As per UGC NET Exam guidelines aspirants can apply for the exam with their post graduation subject or related to that. According to your subject, you can apply for UGC NET Electronic Science. You are lucky, the UGC NET 2020 Apply Online process is still in a running way. NTA has started the process from 16th March 2020. Earlier it was ended on 15th April 2020 but due to COVID-19, it has been extended till 30th June 2020. As per the information available on CBIT website the college offers the spot admission in the following engineering branches as Civil, EEE, ECE, Mech, IT, Prod, Chem, and Biotech. Hence CSE is not under the spot admission. The vacancies in above branches first filled with those qualified in TS EAMCET.
