This programme is designed for students who are interested in Information Technology and its application to the fields of Medicine and Healthcare. After completing this course, students can go for the career roles like Health Informatician. Many Health Informaticians work as CMIO, CCIO, IT Managers, Application Experts, System Developers, Requirements Analysts, Interaction Designers, etc.

Currently, Leipzig University does not charge tuition fees for a student’s first degree. However, in certain cases, students may be required to pay fees for a second degree or for exceeding the standard period of study by too long. Certain fees are also charged for some special courses and the DSH course.
