For the initial screening of the applications, TUM may look for the following:

  • The reputation of previous universities attended. The selection coordinator would usually open the website of the institutes mentioned in the CV to see what that particular university has been doing. In some case, they might look at the university’s accreditation
  • To get admission to TUM, the academic records are very important

If candidates leaves the BSc programme or desires to cancel his/ her admission before the last date of admission, the fee will be returned to them after deducting 10% of the admission fees deposited. Only caution money will be refunded if candidates leaves the programme after the said date. In case where candidates have given an undertaking to the effect that their admission may be cancelled in case they fail to produce their result of qualifying exam by the last date of admission, they will not get any refund of admission fee except the caution money.

The JKSET exam is conducted once every year. However, it is solely upon the University of Jammu to decide on the frequency of the JKSET exam. The JKSET exam carries two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2 and both the papers are compulsory to attempt. The University organizes the exam in separate shifts without any break.
