Echo Technician may be right for you if you are interested in heart health, enjoy working with technology, and have a calming and patient-friendly presence.

A great option to consider, especially if you have not experience with and/or are unsure if this is career for you, is to shadow a cardiac technologist and/or visit a hospital lab to get real-world exposure before making a commitment.

Honestly, placements at GLA University Greater Noida are decent but depend a lot on the student. The college provides opportunities, training, and brings companies, with average packages around 6–8 LPA.

But it's not automatic — your skills, preparation, and effort make the biggest difference.

The Echo Technician syllabus is relatively easy. It can be completed with a Science background, and students interested in a health care career seem to have managed.

Students can learn better through hands-on practice, but if students don't study regularly, then it can be challenging to understand cardiac anatomy and interpreting scans.

Echo Technician graduates primarily work in diagnostic labs or echocardiogram units but may also support cath labs with echo images before or after interventions at some hospitals.

Echo Technicians' main work is non-invasive, while cath labs usually require more cardiac cath training.

If an Echo Technician course student does not have practical experience, they may encounter barriers when they try to practice their knowledge in a hospital setting.

A BSc in Cardiac Technology encompasses a wider curriculum, provides more employment opportunities, and prepares you for further education. It is suitable for long-term development in the health care field.

Diploma courses take less time and can help one find employment quickly as they may be more employment based; however, this path may have limited opportunities for career development, which a BSc offers.
