There are around 159 seats are available in which 140 students took admission and al least 120 students every year are getting placement.

The events related to fashion technology and leather and fabrics shows inter states competition regarding this scenario take place in this college.

The most common is annual function where dance fashion shows singinging shows craft shows and grand party take place in the campus besides this mega event sports games and shows regarding clothing take place in 3 to 4 months

The food items are very nutritious as well as very tasty they provide veg and non veg both, sweet dish is also very different and tasty.

Be punctual to the class, don't miss any class, and try to score good marks from first semester and don't indulge in any malpractices.

The faculty is good and very cooperative student can ask questions outside the class, the trainng manager of different courses give very good advice regarding entrepreneurship also.

NIFT Kannur offers 12 programmes at UG and PG levels, including BDes, BFTech, MFM and MDes. This includes five Continuing Education (CE) programmes, which are specifically meant for working professionals. No problem if someone score less in internal exam, the students must score good in end term exams.

The CGPA is calculated by dividend the total credits you scored in all the semester by total no. of credits alloted in all the semesters.

There is no problem in missing the internal programme one can easily passes the semester if you score good in last end term exams and in its practical.

The campus is very unique but its curriculum and training development programme are very unique.

I am not very much sure about the current year hostel fees. However from my knowledge, the Hostel fee for the year (2020-21) was around Rs 46000/-. New entrants have to pay non-refundable security deposit of Rs. 3000/- and refundable security deposit Rs. 3000/- .

Infrastructure: The  campus has a huge setup of Wi-Fi, and the campus also has the best facilities, but boys don't have hostels. The classes and campus are neat and clean, and the resource center has a collection of books.

Near the NIFT campus, there are a number of PGs (Paying Guest accommodations) and private hostels that serve the needs of students.
