The cutoff for the NEET exam for taking admission in the BVSC course was ranging from 500 to 550 marks. The cut-off can vary depending upon the category. Like the students from economically backward classes (OBC) had a lower cutoff than this.

 

This cutoff is from previous years, so for coming years it may increase.

The NEET cutoffs for different categories in the year 2023 are as below

  • The NEET cutoff for the general category in 2023 was 520-137
  • The NEET cutoff for the SC/ST/OBC category in 2023 was 136-107
  • The NEET cutoff for the general- PH category in 2023 was 136-121
  • The NEET cutoff for the Sc/ST/OBC- PH category in 2023 was 120-107

MAFSU placements are good as compared to Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, as in MAFSU 95% of students placed, whereas in Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences almost 60-70% of students get placed. Both offer almost similar placement packages but different placement percentages. So MAFSU is better as compared to LUVAS.

MAFSU offers admission to B.V.Sc.&A.H, B.Tech, B.F.Sc, M.V.Sc courses purely on a merit basis, and no management seats are there. For admission in veterinary courses, you must have passed class 12th Science with NEET. For admission in Dairy Technology, you must have passed class 12th Science PCME. And for Fishery Science, you must have passed class 12th PCBE.

So it's not too easy or too difficult to get addmission in MAFSU.
