Placements: You will definitely get a job after being graduated from NIFT, and your portfolio and skills matters. NIFT is a brand, and being a student of this college helps a lot in getting placed, unlike other designing colleges, which you pay a hefty amount for, but you hardly get a job.

A lot of companies approach NIFT. But the placement camps are set in metropolitan areas that's why, students from other campuses have to go to the campus. The average salary package offered was around 4 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was around 7-8 LPA. Placements are held in Delhi NCR area.

NIFT Kangra is one of the top design institutions in India that was established in 2009. It is a government institution under the Ministry of Textiles. The campus of NIFT Kangra is spread across 26-acre land and is located in Chheb region of Himachal Pradesh. The institute offers only undergraduate courses in design that can be pursued in full-time mode.

NIFT Kangra only offers UG courses in design. BDes is offered in four specialisations. Besides meeting the qualification requirements, candidates need to adhere to the age criteria as well. The upper limit for candidates from General category is 23 years. For those who belong to reserved category, the upper limit is relaxed by five years. (28 years).
