The steps of application for admission to B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at OUAT are as follows:

The admission criteria for B.Sc. (Hons.) in Agriculture at OUAT for reserved category students is based on the merit list prepared by computing their weightage taking into consideration the percentage of marks secured in 10th, +2 Science, Diploma in Agro-polytechnic and Entrance Examination as per the proportion given below:
a) H.S.C./ 10th - 10%
b) +2 Science - 10%
c) Diploma in Agro-Polytechnic under OUAT - 30%

The selection of candidates for Admission into UG Courses as above, will be as per the merit list prepared by computing their weightage.

For admission into B.Sc. (Hons.)Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry /B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, combinations of either P.C.M or P.C.B in +2 Science/equivalent are mandatory.

The minimum qualification for B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture is +2 Science / equivalent with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate including extra optional for UR category. For SC/ST/PwD/PMSSS/Kashmiri Migrant /Kashmiri Pandit (Non Migrant) /Kashmiri Hindu Families (Non Migrant) candidates, it is 40%.

For Agro Polytechnic students of OUAT, it is 45% for UR category and 40% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
