The National Institute of Design (NID) has released the list of exam centres for the DAT Prelims exam on September 11, 2025. The list of exam centers will be published in the respective admission brochures for the B.Des and M.Des programs. 

The DAT Prelims exam is expected to be conducted in 22 cities across the country - Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneshwar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kochi, Kolkata, Kurukshetra, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayawada. Each of these cities may have one or more exam centres. 

The candidate can select their choice of exam centre at the time of filling out the application form.

No, candidates cannot use a digital copy of the TISSNET admit card as an alternative to the hard copy of the hall ticket at the exam centre. The TISSNET hall ticket is a crucial document acting as a confirmation of eligibility to appear for the exam. Officials at the TISSNET exam centre will deny entry in case the candidate has forgotten a hard copy of the hall ticket. Along with the TISSNET admit card, candidates must carry a valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. Officials at teh exam centre will verify the details in both documents. In case these details do not match, candidates may face hassles at the TISSNET exam centre. Therefore, candidates must get the discrepancies resolved before they visit the TISSNET exam centre to take the test.

The criteria to qualify for the TSTET (Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test) exam are as follows:

1. Eligibility Criteria:
  - For Paper-I (Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
  - For Paper-II (Upper Primary Level): Candidates should have completed or should be appearing in the final year of a Bachelor's degree in any discipline along with a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree in Education (B.Ed) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

2. Qualifying Marks: Candidates need to secure the minimum qualifying marks to pass the TSTET exam. The qualifying marks are as follows:
  - General Category: 60% marks (90 marks out of 150)
  - BC Category: 50% marks (75 marks out of 150)
  - SC/ST/Differently Abled Category: 40% marks (60 marks out of 150)

3. Weightage of TSTET Scores: The TSTET scores are considered for recruitment of teachers in schools under the Government of Telangana. However, the weightage of TSTET scores may vary depending on the recruitment rules and guidelines issued by the respective authorities.
