Find below the eligibility to pursue MS degree from universities in US.
- Undergraduate degree in same or relevant discipline (60%-70% plus in degree)
- High score in GRE.
- High scores in IELTS or TOEFL.
Preferred GRE score- 300 plus.
Preferred TOEFL score- 90 plus.
Preferred IELTS score- 7 bands plus.
Please note that the eligibility criteria for admission may differ from university to university.
Please remember the history of backlogs would not affect your chances of getting admission in American universities as long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission. However please make sure that by the time you apply for admission y

After diploma in engineering, it is advisable to join lateral B.Tech course in which you can directly enter into the second year. Degree course will open more opportunities for you.
* To be eligible, you need to score minimum aggregate of 60% marks in the diploma course. You need to sit for Lateral Entry Entrance Test or LEET which is conducted at state level. Some colleges and Universities too conduct their own lateral entry tests.
* Below is the list of lateral entry colleges :
-MERI College of Engineering and Technology
-Inderprastha Engineering College, Ghaziabad
-Janeta Subash Institute of Technology
