No it's not easy. Admission in Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology Mumbai for M.Tech is based on your score in JEE GATE or other entrance exam. The cutoff is really high in CSE every year. Scholarships and some quotas are available.

If you are joining RGIT instrumentation department then some faculty members are really awesome. They all will help you in all the subjects. They can teach you same topic if you have difficulties 1000 times. They are very friendly.
Some of the professors are strict and few of them are not as good but overall you will say you learned a lot at the end of course.

The institute has a good placement record and collaborates with reputable companies like L&T Infotech, Cognizant, HCL Technologies, and more. It falls slightly below the 100% placement mark.
Sometimes the rate is around 98% and sometimes it falls to 70%. So, basically if you will work hard and you are eligible enough for sitting in placement interview you can secure a seat (it's totally on your hard work).

The main eligibility criteria is that you should've the B.Tech/ B.E degree in that particular field in order to get the admission in Mtech in that program. Then you've to submit your application along with entrance exams scores . Then, they'll verify your details and you will be receiving admission if your entrance exams scores is high along with your Bachelors percentage/CGPA.

As it's the college of technology it's quite promising, with a significant as percentage of students securing placements in reputable companies.
The institute boasts an average placement percentage of 83.8% across various courses like Computer Engineering. Which is mostly asked these days everywhere.
The highest salary package offered is 8 LPA, with a range from 2.5 LPA to 8. Overall it has recieved a positive review so yes it is greatly known for its placement.

Chances for higher placement is also there . If you are sincere enough for it. There are many companies coming to our college and most of all the students are been selected and given different roles in the company. (20 Reviews)
Dislikes
Only Infosys and TCS visited the college, but many of the students were unplaced and didn't get a job. (
It has good placement cell facility and placement co-ordinator is good he helps to get you placed. And college has not too good not too bad placement records it has decent placement with decent packages.
