It's not possible to get a government college with JEE Mains rank of 950074. The government Engineering colleges generally have very high and competitive cutoffs. You can apply to private colleges who accepts JEE Mains score and have much lower cutoffs, also you can look out for colleges who offers direct admission based on marks scored in 12th.

With an 86.12 percentile in JEE Main, your rank is around 2,50,000 to 3,00,000. Getting into top colleges for CSE or AI might be challenging. Top institutes like IITs and NITs have high cutoff ranks (e.g., IIT Kharagpur: 461-2901, NIT Warangal: 99.8+ percentile). With a 40-50 percentile in JEE Mains, securing a B.Tech CSE seat in top-tier government colleges, including NITs or central universities, will be extremely challenging due to high competition. However, this doesn't mean your engineering dreams are out of reach! You can certainly explore a range of private engineering colleges, especially those in less competitive regions or newer institutions, where admission is often possible at this percentile. Many private universities also offer direct admission based on 12th-grade marks or their own internal entrance exams, providing viable pathways to a B.Tech CSE degree.
