I suggest you should not rush right now.though he secured quite good percentage.but class 8th marks cannot be the deciding factor for his future.let your child explore his potential further in class 9th.for the time being u can help him by contacting with some IITians

Its gud as u r done ur dip engg with mechanical bcoz other branch r not up to demanding in market according to present scenario, now u can do job if u get gud profile and core field, otherwse go for 3year regular b. tech(lateral entry) then join company.
