2. The IPS examination is conducted in three stages- the preliminary examination, the main examination and the interview. The preliminary examination is divided into two papers they are general studies and optional subject.

In India, Marine Biology courses are mostly offered at postgraduate levels. In order to pursue such a course, one has to complete graduation with Biology as the main subject of study.
You can take up B.SC Biology and thereafter pick post graduation in Marine Biology.
