As far as knowledge goes. BMS has more placement activities than NIE as BMS is in Bangalore and is exposed to more companies there. But both colleges have good placements. Placements also depend on how well prepared you're.

It is difficult to get job abroad without experience and IT skills. You are advised to join a goid IT company and after few years experience try for job abroad. You can also do MS abroad and then job in same country.
