No this is not better to do B.Tech after the Diploma course. Because you are missing the opportunity for studying in prestigious NITs and CFTIs. The admission in NITs and CFTIs are based on the performance in JEE Main exam. Technically you will be eligible for JEE Main after the Diploma but will not considered for admission in NITs and CFTIs. So in my opinion you have to first complete your 12th than appear in JEE Main exam for B.Tech admission.

Contributor-Level 8

No, It is not any guarantee of 100% placement. Placement of BCA students depends upon the student skill as well as on college. Is there companies visiting in your college or not. Also If you are good in coding And Development then you also apply for offline for the companies but For BCA graduates It is less chance to be placed in Product based companies because They do not consider BCA as a technical degree. So Its better to do MCA from Good colleges for BCA graduates.

CET exam is basically on your general knowledge and reasoning along with English. So if not much needed you may not go for any books but gather knowledge from the internet I think that will be enough and you can also go through the MCQ test that are available online especially on the reasoning part. That will be enough for your preparation.
