• You stand a good chance at reputable private colleges (especially in Pune or around) for branches like Mechanical, ECE, Electrical, or IT.

• Getting into top government colleges (for branches like CSE/IT) will be very difficult, since those often close at much lower ranks.

• If you are flexible in branch and college location, you should target mid‐tier to strong private colleges rather than elite institutes.

IET B.Tech CSE Admission with CUET UG 91 Percentile

• IET Lucknow  (Institute of Engineering and Technology) mainly takes B.Tech admissions (including CSE) through JEE Main rank, not CUET UG percentile.

• 91 percentile in CUET UG is generally not accepted for B.Tech CSE at IET Lucknow—check the specific admission notice for your year to confirm if CUET UG is considered.

• For 2025, the official process and cutoffs for B.Tech CSE require a valid JEE Main score and counselling through UPTAC.

• Verdict: With only CUET UG 91 percentile,  IET Lucknow B.Tech CSE admission is not possible. JEE Main is mandatory for B.Tech programs here.

With a general category rank of 6,630 in MPDTE 2025 (MP BE counselling, based on JEE Main) for B.Tech at GSITS Indore, your chances for admission to core branches such as Computer Science Engineering (CSE), Information Technology (IT), or Electronics & Communication are very low or unlikely.

SGSITS Indore (now SGSITS) is one of the top engineering colleges in Madhya Pradesh. The cutoff for CSE and IT in general category typically closes well below 2,000–3,000 in the second round. Other popular branches like Electronics and Mechanical may close slightly higher, but still often within the 3,500–4,500 range in recent years. Some lower-demand branches (like Civil or Biomedical) may have cutoffs extending up to ranks around 6,000–7,000, but even these are not guaranteed at 6,630 in the second round.

• CSE/IT (General): Cutoff generally < 3,000

• ECE/EEE/Mechanical (General): Cutoff generally < 4,500

• Civil/Chemical/Bio-Medical, etc.: Seats may remain into the 5,000–7,000 range, but availability is highly variable
