Hi Saqib,
I can totally understand your dilemma in this case as I have been through the same.
Now, you need understand that there are two important things to consider while seeking admission.
(i) A branch of your choice but from a not so good institute = Not much value.
(ii) A not so demanding engineering branch from a good institute= Not much value either.
Also, it will not be right to comment on any institute as it might lead to a biased opinion. However, it is advisable for you to keep in mind the various parameters such as
- Recognition (UGC/AICTE)
- Success Rate
- How old the institute is
- Batch Size
- Course details
- Faculty
- Infrastruct

Anjali, I am not sure which course you are looking at. Design is a field that is age old and has been evolving every year like science. Sometimes student Artists are too much enamoured by Fine Arts preventing them to look objectively at Design. They must read this http://bit.ly/SXc9GD. Again like science it pays to be at the cutting edge. For e.g. science students do better if they go for CS or IT since that are areas where development is taking place rapidly. Similarly in Design the cutting edge areas are UID/ UXD, 3D Printing, Immersive Technology, Augmented Reality, 3D Projection etc, besides of course Game Design and Animation. At
