Hi,
The first stage of the exam is called preliminary exam/civil service aptitude test and it comprise of two compulsory papers based on general studies and aptitude test.
The second stage is called Main exam and it comprise of four compulsory papers and two optional papers.
The compulsory papers are One Indian Language, Essay, General Studies and English.

Dear sree, yes this will affect your career for top MNC but there will be no problem for some Local firms to recruit you. Once you gain some 3-4 years experience then no one will pay attention to your gap.
Well you haven't mentioned whether you were doing diploma or degree in engineering.
If Diploma them I would request you to complete your diploma and then enroll directly in II year of BCA
If Degree then if possible try to complete it . If not possible then don't think about things which are out of your hand.
go for BCA, whether MNC will consider your gap or not , that should not end your career and further study. There is no end of study

As per your background and requirement, I may suggest you to go for a teaching profession.
1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern

Please let us know in detail which course you wish to pursue for better advice, however if you mean admission in masters degree then please remember having a gap in education would not affect your chances of getting admission in American universities as long as you fulfil the eligibility criteria for admission.
