The NCHMCT JEE exam accommodates both English and Hindi speakers. Except for the English Language section, all questions are provided in both languages. The marking scheme for NCHMCT JEE is:

• 4 marks are awarded for one correct answer.
• There is  negative marking of 1 mark for every question answered incorrectly.
• No marks are awarded or deducted for questions left unanswered. 

The 3 hours and 180 minutes that make up the NCHMCT JEE exam are dedicated to the examination. It covers the time spent reading the guidelines and the 200 extended-answer objective-style questions. It's a computer-based test, or CBT. It indicates that test-takers will receive a computer to use to write the test.
