Technically NFTE implies that a candidate who has not obtained eligibility for third semester after a period of three academic years from the date of first admission shall be declared NFTE. However, the candidate is eligible for readmission for first year B.E./B. Tech. in any college of the University.The candidate shall complete the course within a period of eight academic years from the date of first admission, failing which he/she has to discontinue the course. In your case, you are the best judge for whether you are made out to do engineering or not. You have to analyse why you are not able to clear this course. If you think you can, then please go ahead else there are many other good careers available. Do think of what interests you and then pursue the same. Hope this helps. All the best. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers.
