How to become an astronaut? An astronaut is someone who is giving training by the space flight programme to work as the pilots. Qualifying exam:
Bachelor's degree in biological science, engineering, mathematics or physical science from a recognised university. They need to obtain any one of the following degrees from renowned institutes like IISC or IIT, Ph.D (Astrophysics)
Ph.D (Geophysics)
Ph.D (metaphysics)
After graduation, candidates can appear for the entrance exam which is held by the NASA for the recruitment of scientists, Astronauts etc. You may also find employment in ISRO

Admissions will be a challenge since merit list and cut-offs are usually very high. You have to check with DU colleges. You have to check alternate options.

You don't have to worry about filling out forms for college now. It starts around April-May. So, when you are in class 12th, then just make sure you have a clear concept of the syllabus you learned in +2. So, you can do well in entrances apart from the Merit based system. Look out for entrances, as they take place during May and as far as DU is concerned, the cut offs come out in late May or early June.

A correspondence course does not have all the benefits of a regular course, for instance, one cannot practice law as an Advocate, since Bar Council of India stipulates minimum attendance for sitting for All India Bar Exam. I am not sure, if institutes under MHTCET have this facility, but if you are clear about correspondence and its worth, law can be done through Open Universities.
